I am an native Iowan (Hawkeye) who moved to Indiana earlier this year. What have I noticed about the difference between the two? Sports are big in Iowa and even bigger in Indiana (especially basketball, ice hocky, and car racing). I was amused to see the carts little kids can drive around the grocery store are made to look like race cars. Must be close to Detroit.

Go Trish! Formula One and Nascar are huge here, hence the early training of the kids in the grocery carts.
